Wondercide Dog Collar with Natural Essential Oils review
Essential-oil repellent collar for owners who want no synthetic actives at all.

How it performed
If you have decided against synthetic actives entirely, this is the most credible option in the group, and the cedar-forward scent is far more pleasant than the alternatives.
The trade-off is honesty about what a repellent can do. It reduced landings noticeably on short neighbourhood walks, but it does not kill and it does not hold up through a full afternoon in long grass.
Coverage also fades much faster than the label window suggests once the collar gets wet, so plan on replacing it well before an eight-month collar would need attention.
What we liked
- Plant-based actives for households avoiding synthetic pesticides
- Adds mosquito repellency on top of fleas and ticks
- Cut-to-size band for small and medium dogs
- Fresh peppermint scent instead of chemical smell
What held it back
- Repels rather than kills, so ticks can still latch before they leave
- Four months of coverage means buying three per season versus one #1 collar
Best for: Owners committed to a natural-actives-only routine · In Stock
